Rare vintage Grosse necklace; Grosse was a design house for Chanel. This gold-plated necklace features five stationed beads with line-etched texture and ends that remind us of ribbon wrapped around a "ball" and gently cinched at the sides. The chain is an intricately woven, twisted and rope-like. Simple and elegant. Lovely alone or as a layering piece. O-ring clasp. Signed Grosse and dated as 1968 Germany. Approximate measurement: 31.5" length, each bead is about 1/2" long. Superb vintage condition, commensurate with age. Shown in pictures with and without flash. From a smoke-free home.
