This 1990's Chanel Hat was featured in the Vogue Magazine at the time. It is a lattice see-through woven design that is quite unique.
It is light-weight and is a show stopper when worn. I wore this to a wedding with a black and gold Bruce Oldfield dress and once to Ascot. It can be dressed up or down to suit a multitude of occasions. Hat can be customised with black ribbon as pictured in Chanel advert.
I am unsure what it is made of but I would guess a plastice structure (which is sturdy), covered in gold sequined ribbon.
The way it has been constructed is really a work of art.
The size is shown on the Chanel Label is 59cm. The overall size edge to edge is 36cm.
I do not have the box but will post out in a sturdy hat box and pack it in a first class manner to avoid any damage in transit.
This item is even beautiul on a hat stand as a work of art - when it is not worn.
Please ask questions about this unique hat that I will be very sad to say goodbye to.
