Absolutely gorgeous early vintage Chanel earrings circa the 1940s-1950s, in a quatrefoil motif that gives the impression of a Maltese cross, with turquoise glass cabochons, faceted glass rhinestones, and gilt repoussé filigree detailing. Clip-on closure, with small camellia flowers serving as the clip rest. Unsigned, from the period in which Coco Chanel was still alive, before Chanel began marking all of their jewelry in 1971. I have had them professionally authenticated, as well as examined by an independent appraiser (Dr. Lori Verderame). Certificate information from the authentication will be sent to the buyer.
