Quite possibly the most amazing vintage denim jacket and jeans set from Escada! Rare, documented 1994 cotton denim twill with whimsical print of gold and pearl baubles-very Chanel! Waist length jacket with flattering V-shaped seaming and flap pocket at each side of chest. Closes with gold toned metal domed buttons with pearlescent star inset. Adjustable waist tabs in back, and single button closure at each cuff. Gold “E” rivets. Classic high waisted 5 pocket tapered leg jeans with zip fly and gold “E” rivets. This set was part of the 1994 Spring/Summer collection; shown is a print ad featuring supermodel Claudia Mason wearing the same jeans and a button front top in the same print. Both pieces are labeled Escada Margaretha Ley. Made in Italy. Size 38. Very good condition, denim is stiff and print is vibrant. Some light wear showing to some of the buttons' pearlescent centers; a couple of very faint yellow marks on the jeans.
